Acceptable Use Policy

Acceptable Use Policy

Original Effective Date: January 17, 2023

Current Version Effective Date: July 29, 2026

Last Updated: July 29, 2026

1. Scope and Responsibility

This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all free, paid, trial, account, unauthenticated, casual, automated, and API use of CodeConda LLC's Services. It applies to User Content, prompts, outputs, messages, connected-platform actions, hosted or published materials, and attempts to use the Services. You are responsible for your users and for having all rights, permissions, notices, and lawful bases needed for your use.

2. Illegal, Exploitative, or Harmful Content

You may not use the Services to create, request, upload, store, transform, host, publish, facilitate, or distribute:

  • Content or activity that violates applicable law, sanctions, export controls, court orders, or legally binding restrictions.
  • Child sexual abuse material (“CSAM”), sexual exploitation of minors, grooming, trafficking, or content that sexualizes a minor, including synthetic or altered content.
  • Non-consensual intimate imagery, sexual exploitation, sextortion, or content depicting a real person in an intimate or sexual context without legally valid consent.
  • Credible threats, incitement, instructions primarily intended to cause serious harm, targeted harassment, stalking, or hateful abuse prohibited by law.
  • Fraud, scams, deceptive impersonation, manipulated media or deepfakes presented to mislead about a person's identity or conduct, or unauthorized use of another person's likeness.

3. Privacy, Identity, and Intellectual Property

  • Do not violate privacy, confidentiality, publicity, personality, biometric, data protection, or intellectual property rights.
  • Do not expose credentials, authentication tokens, financial information, highly sensitive personal data, or private communications without authorization.
  • Do not dox, unlawfully profile, surveil, identify, or infer sensitive traits about people, or process personal data without required authority, notices, consent, or another lawful basis.
  • Do not infringe copyrights, trademarks, patents, trade secrets, database rights, or contractual access restrictions.

4. Security and Technical Abuse

  • Do not distribute malware, ransomware, spyware, destructive code, phishing, credential theft, exploit kits, or instructions primarily intended to compromise systems or evade security.
  • Do not probe, scan, access, disrupt, overload, or interfere with systems, accounts, networks, rate limits, authentication, or safety controls without authorization.
  • Do not evade AI safeguards, moderation, quotas, credits, storage limits, geographic controls, account restrictions, or enforcement measures.
  • Do not scrape, crawl, harvest, benchmark, reconstruct, reverse engineer, or extract models, prompts, datasets, outputs, or service logic through unauthorized automated means.
  • Do not resell, sublicense, share, or automate access except as expressly permitted by the applicable plan or written agreement.

5. Outreach, Messaging, and Spam

Lawful business outreach is permitted only when you have a valid lawful basis for each communication and comply with all applicable marketing, privacy, telemarketing, platform, and consumer-protection requirements. You must provide required notices, accurately identify the sender and purpose, avoid deceptive routing or subject lines, honor suppression lists, and include and promptly process a working opt-out where required.

You may not send spam, bulk unsolicited communications prohibited by law or platform rules, messages to unlawfully obtained, scraped, fabricated, or improperly purchased lists, repeated messages after opt-out, phishing, harassment, or communications designed to conceal identity or evade filtering. A purchased list is not lawful merely because it was sold. You are responsible for confirming source, permissions, notices, and permitted use.

6. AI and Generated Content Safety

  • Do not use AI features to facilitate prohibited conduct, generate exploitative or unlawful content, or defeat safety systems.
  • Do not present synthetic content as authentic where that would deceive, defraud, impersonate, violate rights, or create a material risk of harm. Provide disclosures or provenance information where required.
  • Do not rely on generated output for high-impact decisions about employment, housing, credit, insurance, education, legal services, health care, or essential services without lawful authority, appropriate human review, validation, and required safeguards.
  • Do not generate or distribute instructions, claims, translations, images, or metadata you know are dangerously false or unlawful. You must review outputs before use or publication.

7. Connected Platforms and Civic Communications

  • Do not access, import, publish, message, or act through a connected account without the account holder's authorization or beyond the permissions granted.
  • Do not violate a connected platform's terms, API limits, recipient controls, content rules, or security requirements, or use integrations to evade platform enforcement.
  • Do not submit unlawful civic or government communications, impersonate a constituent or official, falsify residence or eligibility, automate communications where prohibited, threaten officials, or misrepresent generated content as an official statement.

8. Resource Limits and Fair Use

You must comply with the quotas, credits, file limits, storage limits, concurrency limits, and rate limits shown in the Service, plan, API documentation, or order. We may apply reasonable technical controls to protect capacity, security, providers, and other users. We will not impose undisclosed usage fees, but usage beyond an included allowance may require an additional purchase or plan change disclosed before the charge.

9. Enforcement

We may use automated and manual systems to detect abuse, but we do not promise to pre-screen or comprehensively review all content. Depending on severity, history, intent, and risk, we may warn, limit features, restore safety settings, remove or disable content, suspend or terminate access, preserve evidence, reverse abusive credits or commissions, or report conduct where required or permitted by law.

We may act immediately and without advance notice in an emergency, for apparent illegal activity, active security threats, CSAM, imminent harm, or where notice would increase risk. Otherwise, where practicable and appropriate, we will use proportionate measures and provide notice or an opportunity to request review. Enforcement does not create an obligation to monitor or remove any particular content.

10. Reporting Abuse and Copyright Concerns

Report suspected CSAM, threats, fraud, phishing, malware, impersonation, privacy violations, connected-platform abuse, or other violations through our support page. If there is immediate danger, contact local emergency services first. Include the relevant URL, account or content identifier, description, supporting information, and your contact details where safe to do so.

Copyright or other intellectual-property reports may also be submitted through our support page. A report should identify the protected work or right, the challenged material and its location, the reporter's contact information and authority, a good-faith statement, and any declaration required by applicable law. Knowingly false reports may create liability.

11. Changes

We may update this AUP as risks, Services, provider rules, or law change. We will post the revision, update the “Last Updated” date, and provide additional notice for material changes where required or reasonably appropriate. Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date, consistent with the Terms of Service.

12. Contact

For questions, reports, or an enforcement review request, contact CodeConda LLC through our support page.
