Refund Policy
Refund Policy
Last Updated: July 2026
1. Digital-Only Scope
This Refund Policy applies to paid digital Services offered by CodeConda LLC (“CodeConda,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), including subscriptions, renewals, one-time digital services, usage credits, processing jobs, and generated outputs. We do not sell physical goods under this Policy. There are no shipping returns, item inspections, physical exchanges, or store-credit remedies.
A merchant of record or payment provider may administer a transaction and refund under its checkout terms. This Policy applies alongside those terms and the Terms of Service. Nothing in this Policy limits a non-waivable refund, cancellation, withdrawal, chargeback, warranty, or consumer remedy provided by applicable law.
2. Voluntary First-Purchase Review Window
Separately from any mandatory statutory right, CodeConda may, in its discretion, review a first paid purchase refund request submitted within fourteen (14) calendar days after the initial charge for a particular Service. This voluntary review window is not a guaranteed trial or unconditional right to a refund. We may consider usage, credits consumed, outputs delivered, costs incurred, abuse, prior accounts, and the reason for the request.
The discretionary first-purchase rule generally does not apply to renewals, repeat purchases, promotional or complimentary credits, substantially consumed usage, custom work already performed, or purchases made after a prior refund for the same or substantially similar Service. Statutory rights apply regardless of these exclusions.
3. Subscriptions, Renewals, and Cancellation
Cancel an automatically renewing subscription before its renewal date through the account billing portal where available or through our support page. Cancellation stops future renewals and ordinarily leaves access available until the end of the paid billing period. It does not automatically refund the initial charge, a renewal, unused time, or a partially used period.
Renewal charges are generally nonrefundable unless required by law or caused by a verified billing error. If you believe cancellation was completed before renewal, submit the confirmation or relevant details through support so we can review the account and provider records.
4. Usage Credits and Generated Outputs
Purchased credits and generated outputs are digital services. Credits have no cash value and are not redeemable for cash. Unused or partially used credits are generally nonrefundable after purchase, and consumed credits or delivered outputs are generally nonrefundable merely because an output was inaccurate, unwanted, nonunique, or unsuitable. AI and automated outputs inherently vary, as described in the Terms.
Where required by law or expressly stated at purchase, an expiration, withdrawal, or refund rule shown at checkout controls. A credit restoration corrects Service usage and is not a cash refund or admission of fault.
5. Failed Jobs and Credit Restoration
If a processing job fails because of a verified Service error or upstream-provider failure and no usable output is delivered, we may automatically restore the credits used or restore them after review. If restoration is technically unavailable or inappropriate, we may consider another remedy, including a refund, where required by law or approved in our discretion.
A job is not necessarily failed because processing is slow, an output differs from expectations, a source file is unsupported or corrupted, instructions are incomplete, a connected platform rejects an action, or use violates our policies. Provider outages and retries may delay the final job status. Do not repeatedly resubmit a pending job if that could create duplicate usage.
6. Duplicate, Incorrect, or Unauthorized Charges
Promptly report a suspected duplicate, incorrect, or unauthorized charge through our support page. Include the transaction date, amount, receipt or invoice identifier, and enough account information to locate the payment, but do not send full payment-card details. We may verify the account, usage, authentication, and provider records before deciding the request.
Verified duplicate or incorrect charges will be corrected. Unauthorized-payment claims may also be handled by the payment provider or financial institution under its rules. Contacting us first may allow faster investigation, but this Policy does not restrict any non-waivable right to contact your provider or dispute a charge.
7. How to Request a Refund
Submit through our support page. Identify the Service, account email or identifier, transaction, purchase date, amount, and reason for the request. We may request reasonable verification and may decline to process a request until we can confirm the purchaser, account, and transaction. Do not submit sensitive payment credentials.
We will review eligible requests within a reasonable time. Approval may be issued by CodeConda, a payment processor, or a merchant of record, depending on the transaction. We will communicate the result through the support channel or contact information associated with the request.
8. Refund Method and Timing
Approved cash refunds are generally returned to the original payment method unless law or the provider requires another method. CodeConda may authorize a refund promptly, but banks, card networks, payment processors, merchants of record, currency conversion, and local payment methods control final posting times. It may take several business days or longer for a credit to appear.
Fees, exchange-rate differences, and taxes are handled according to applicable law and provider rules. Restored usage credits generally appear in the relevant Service and are distinct from money returned to a payment method.
9. Mandatory Consumer Rights
Some jurisdictions provide mandatory rights for defective digital services or a cooling-off or withdrawal period. Those rights vary and may depend on whether you requested immediate performance, received digital content, or acknowledged that performance could affect a withdrawal right. We do not rely on a waiver or acknowledgment unless it was validly presented and obtained for the relevant transaction. Where mandatory law gives you greater rights than this Policy, that law controls.
Any summary shown at checkout or a refund surface should state that digital purchases are generally nonrefundable after delivery or use, that first-time requests submitted within 14 days are reviewed in CodeConda's discretion, and that statutory rights remain unaffected. A summary does not replace this Policy or legally required checkout disclosures.
10. Abuse and Changes
We may deny discretionary requests involving fraud, refund abuse, repeated purchases and refunds, evasion through multiple accounts, policy violations, or materially false information. This does not limit remedies required by law. We may update this Policy prospectively, update the “Last Updated” date, and provide additional notice for material changes where required or reasonably appropriate. A change will not retroactively remove a refund right that had already accrued under mandatory law.
